(ED Public Program) SUN: Seniors Understanding Nature
SUN-Seniors Understanding Nature
We’re all familiar with bass, trout, and catfish—but have you ever heard of a stickleback, moonfish, or drum? Nebraska is home to more than 100 species of fish, many of which are lesser-known but equally fascinating.
Join Daryl Bauer from Nebraska Game and Parks as he introduces us to some of the many native fish species found across the state. This engaging program will explore where these fish live and the habitat requirements that support their survival.
Time: 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Location: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 Bellevue Blvd. N.
