(ED Public Program) SUN: Seniors Understanding Nature
SUN - Seniors Understanding Nature
"The Wonderful World of Trees"
We all can recognize the parts of a tree, but what do we know about what lies beneath the bark or inside the leaves? Join us as we take a look at the inner workings of a tree, how it grows, and how it survives. Come learn the answer to the question of the season, “Why do leaves change color?” We’ll also share fun facts about and ways to identify some of Fontenelle Forest’s most common trees.
Time: 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Location: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 Bellevue Blvd. N.
