SUN - Seniors Understanding Nature
Discover the hidden world of wetlands at Fontenelle Forest! Tisha Johnson, a Naturalist Educator with a background in environmental science, will give us a closer look at the plants and animals that depend on wetlands for food, shelter, and survival. She will also discuss why these habitats are so important to conserve.
Through fascinating stories and observations from the wetland's ecosystem, she’ll provide us with a deeper appreciation for the dynamic life found in our local wetlands.
Time: 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Location: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 Bellevue Blvd. N.
Program Fee: This event is free for members or with daily admission. AARP members will receive a $5 discount on admission for themselves and one guest for this program if they show their AARP membership card at the time of check-in. This discount is not valid for online admission purchases.
