Explore outer space indoors with the Starlab inflatable planetarium! 

Educators from Gifford Farm will join us at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center to lead astronomy lessons in the Starlab. These are timed sessions lasting 45 minutes. There will also be other space-themed activity stations to enjoy. If weather permits, we will take a brief guided hike to observe the night sky from our Riverview Boardwalk. Please dress for the weather.

This event is designed for families with children ages 4-13 years. Adults must accompany children.

Program Fee: This program is $10 for Members and $25 for Non-members. Pre-registration is required.

Bring the whole family to a Family Yoga class here at Fontenelle Forest! We are partnering with Alexis Espinoza, a local yoga and mindfulness instructor, for this amazing program. During this program, Alexis aims to create a safe space in nature where children can get in tune with their bodies, emotions, and the natural world around them. Join us as we stretch, meditate, and connect with each other and the Forest!  

Please note: Yoga mats are not provided. If you don’t have a yoga mat, we suggest bringing an alternative such as a thick towel or blanket to provide some cushioning and grip during your practice.
