Are you passionate about conservation? Does community science pique your interest? Do you enjoy the forest at dusk, and the creepy-crawlies that come out then? This might be the program for you!

Join us as we learn about the insect surveys conducted at Fontenelle Forest, and the importance of understanding the populations of flora and fauna that live here. We'll begin the evening with a discussion about insect surveys, how we use the data from these surveys, and look at the relationship between research and conservation. Then, it's time to get surveying! Participants will use light traps to survey insect populations and learn how to identify the different species that come to visit! Let's get buggy!
