What do whiskers do? How can we feel when something is warm or cold? Do other animals feel things the same way we do? It’s time to get hands-on with our sense of touch to learn more! 

Acorn Academy meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. This program is for children ages 6+. Acorn Academy is $8 per child. Registration is required. Class size is limited to 15 students.
