Granite, quartz, limestone... a rock is a rock, right? Actually, the world of rocks is a bit more complicated than you might think! This week we will uncover the features of different kinds of rocks, discover how they are formed, and see how rocks can tell the story of the earth itself! 

Acorn Academy meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. This program is for children ages 6+. Acorn Academy is $8 per child. Registration is required. Class size is limited to 15 students.
