Let’s dig into the history of the animals that used to live here in Nebraska! From velociraptors to giant sloths, this land has been home to some pretty interesting residents. We’ll compare raptors to raptors, check out some fossils, and get to know the variety of creatures that have called Nebraska home over the years. 

Acorn Academy meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. This program is for children ages 6+. Acorn Academy is $8 per child. Registration is required. Class size is limited to 15 students.
